Thought about not posting this one because, once again, I look like a crazy kindergarten teacher. But I like these Joker colors. The sun was in my eyes.

Pencil Skirt: Final Version
Oh my God, you guys, I finished it! My pencil skirt is done!! I hemmed and did my button and buttonhole this afternoon and now I have a perfectly wearable pencil skirt. I’m super proud of myself for doing both as 1) I’ve never done a buttonhole before, and 2) hemming is my least favorite part of sewing.
Now, as with everything on me, the waistband is a little roomy (really have to teach myself how to do a swayback adjustment) but that’s fixed easily with a belt, as seen in the picture on the right. I belt most of my off the rack skirts anyway so it’s not a big issue.
With it, I’m wearing one of the City Chic shirts I got in the post Xmas sale as well as a belt I got from there. I think I might wear this outfit on my first day back at work…
Here’s what I wore to work today.

I’m back! Thank you so much, everyone, for all your kind words, I’m feeling a lot better now :) I’ve missed everyone a lot, but I told myself I wouldn’t post until I had a new OOTD, and now I do! Today was my college orientation and it was long and hot but I made it through, barely, and am registered for classes for August and everything! I’m excited, and very very nervous.
